An inspiring lesson to Lal Bahadur Shastri by Lala Lajpat Rai - Turnspiritual.in, Turn Spiritual

Do you remember our great leaders Lal Bahadur Shastri and Lala Lajpat Rai. I know, many people remember them only on Independence day and Republic day. The remaining days, people are all busy remembering films and sports celebrities. Who need inspiring lessons, they all need entertaining stories. But remember, you are not going to reach the highest goals of life if you ignore the inspiring lessons from great leaders and cling to these entertaining things.

Here is an inspiring lesson taught by Lala Lajpat Rai to Lal Bahadur Shastri that you should remember forever. Let's get into it.

One day, a friend of  Lal Bahadur Shastri asked him the reason for why he is not interested in appraisals and felicitation ceremonies. Then Lal Bahadur Shastri answerd, " Listen my friend, one day Lala Lajpat Rai taught me a great lesson. He said to me ' Look Shastri, to build Tajmahal two types of stones are used. One is the costly white marble, which you can see on the outer parts. The second one is the normal stone which is used to build the foundation. Almost everyone talks about the beautiful white marble used outside, but no one cares about the normal stone used in foundation. But in fact it's because of the normal stone in foundation, Tajmahal is able to stand strong in all situations. So we should be like normal stones in foundation without any interest in appraisals and felicitation ceremonies'. "

Really, how great our leaders are. We should learn a lot from them. These days we always run after the so called name and fame. Everyone wants to be noticed. They always try be like white marble on Tajmahal. Now come on, all these name and fame you earn are going to ruin someday. Try to give your best in everything and never expect something in return.
